Yes, I cut off my own finger... on purpose. Without a doubt, this is the most intense and revealing personal ritual I have ever performed, one that I have never ever regreted and one whose outcomes continuates to fascinate me on a daily basis... There is so much to be said about why I did this and what the experience means to me, that typing up a few paragraphs will not do it justice.
