THE LEARNING CHANNEL - "SKIN SCULPTORS" - 2002

This really ended up being a decent documentary, I have to congratulate the producers for having the balls to talk about deliberate amputation and underground body modification the way they did, they definitely did it with respect and intelligence.

I hooked up with the producers of The Learning Channel's "Skin Sculptors" while I was in NY with Lukas back in May of 2002. It was cool to have them film me while I did a shoot in Manhattan with my friend Deanna, because I insisted on being identified primarily as a photographer - performance art and my body are always second to photography. The rest of the segment then tied into everything else that I happen to do as performance art, mainly featuring the forehead trick.
