THE LEARNING CHANNEL - "SKIN SCULPTORS" - 2002

This really ended up being a very cool documentary, I have to congratulate the producers for talking about deliberate amputation and underground body modification the way they did, they definitely did it with respect and intelligence.

I hooked up with the producers of The Learning Channel's "Skin Sculptors" while I was in NY with Lukas back in May of 2002. It was cool that they filmed me while I was shooting in Manhattan with my friend Deanna, because I insisted on being identified primarily as a photographer - performance art and my body are always second to photography. The rest of the segment then tied into everything else that I happen to do as performance art, mainly featuring the forehead trick.
