why I love my new Wacom Intuos4

I’ve been using Wacom graphic tablets for years. It’s like having hydraulic disc brakes on your bike, there is no better performance. I spend more time working on the computer than behind the camera, so I couldn’t imagine having the streamlined computer workflow I have today without this tool in my arsenal.  There’s no way I would even bother trying to assemble my mannequin series with a clunky mouse.

Wacom was looking for a bilingual artist to represent them in the north-east and I got signed on as a Pro-Artist. There is no greater compliment than to be sponsored by them with the launch of the Intuos4.

I’ve been using my new Intuos4 tablet for more than three months. I love it, it’s insane. The illuminated OLED displays are such an amazing improvement to my workflow – I can have a million different shortcuts customized into the ExpressKeys for different applications and never lose a moment trying to remember what shortcut was where.  The pen and work surface are sleeker and more comfortable, the touch ring with 4 functions per application has a great dynamic to it and is much more practical in day-in-day-out use over the previous vertical touch strips.  What else can really be said about such an intuitive input device?  Check out the video:
